Lavra Wines

Our partner farm has created Lavra Wines to support the mission of the Lavra Nonprofit. Lavra Wines are often available at Lavra events. Their 5-acre property includes a 1/2 acre vineyard located on a steep, south-facing slope. In spring 2019 we bottled the first wines made from our estate vineyard, the 2017 Estate Grenache and 2017 Reserve Grenache. Both wines were produced by the Lavra vineyard, planted in spring 2015. Located on a south-facing hill, this vineyard received the benefits of the warm Central Coast sunshine and cool ocean breeze every night, resulting in bright, balanced wines. The vineyard consists of Grenache and Syrah grapes. We are surrounded by some of the best Rhone producers on the Central Coast and are excited to have successfully harvested, crushed, aged, and bottled our first of many future Rhone wines from our estate.
