Participatory Circles with environmental local organizations

  • The Lavra Arroyo Grande, CA U.S.A. (map)

With : Linda Seeley from Mothers of Peace, Kendra Paulding from ECOSLO, Eric Veium from SLO Climate Coalition and Gianna Patchen from the Sierra Club.

Join us for an evening of meeting local environmental organizations and connecting with others about ways we can get involved in protecting our resources and natural world.

We’ll start with a social time from 5:30 to 6pm. Then we’ll introduce our circles facilitators, learn about their organizations’ work, and break into different groups. Those participatory circles are aimed at making people connect with themselves, share different viewpoints and imagine how they might want to be involved with caring for the environment in the future. The circle facilitators will share some tools and games to spark meaningful conversations.

The goal of the evening is to inspire each of us to recognize our own power and abilities, and connect us with greater circles, within a playful and supportive environment.
